I stayed up really late night trying to finds ways to make money or should I say to find a job. I finally realized that I’ll have to take a whole different approach to this search. You see I’m a military veteran but I’ve never explored the possibility that I might have a better luck at my job search if I told the employers that I am a military veteran. I just might get hired faster so that’s what I did yesterday. I never did go to Iraq nor was I active duty except for when I went for training but I would like to think it shouldn’t matter. I remember one of my friends in the military say that she didn’t think that she should get any recognition because she was seen as a “Weekend Worrier”.  I don’t see myself that way, I served my term and I’m very proud of myself. I did find a really good job and I emailed the recruiter so hopefully I’ll get a call for an interview and then the job. So wish me well.
